Window to the Soul

Watercolor on paper, 15″ x 15,” 2021

This piece serves as a visual reminder of the Buddhist concept of impermanence—the constant motion of life where everything is always evolving or in decline. The circular design, resembling a window or wheel, captures this endless cycle of transformation.

I’m fascinated by the beauty that emerges when pigments bleed into one another, creating unexpected and captivating effects. Each stroke is an experiment in capturing the essence of life’s fluidity, where colors blend and shift, just as our experiences do.
