Acrylic, watercolor and pencil on paper, 24” x 18” 2022

Before sharing my work on Instagram, I often test the waters by posting on Reddit. After sharing this piece, someone remarked that it “pretty much looks like a cube in 4 spatial dimensions.” That simple observation sent me down a fascinating rabbit hole, leading to research on hypercubes and tesseracts—essentially, cubes in the fourth dimension.

What intrigued me most was how this comment highlighted something profound about abstract art: we each bring our unique experiences and interpretations to it, often seeing beyond what the artist originally intended. It’s a reminder that art can inspire unexpected connections and curiosity, taking both the artist and the viewer on an unexpected journey.
