Foundationary

Watercolor and pencil on archival paper, 16″ x 12,” 2022

This work is an exploration of geometry and minimalist elegance. This artwork, crafted with layered, transparent watercolors, plays with the interplay of light and depth through a series of repetitive cube-like forms. The subtle gradients of blue create a sense of calm, with each shade transitioning seamlessly into the next.

Perfect for spaces seeking tranquility and a sense of contemplative beauty, this piece bridges modern design with meditative harmony. The careful arrangement of shapes conjures architectural precision, yet the hand-painted washes offer softness and an organic touch. Whether displayed in a serene living space or an inspiring creative studio, Foundationary invites the viewer to pause, breathe, and appreciate the beauty of pattern and structure in motion.
