Watercolor and watercolor pens on paper, 8.5″ x 5.5″, 2023

This work began with layered glyph-like forms, marks that suggest a language just out of reach. Allowing the water to move freely, I followed its rhythm rather than trying to control it. What emerged is a kind of visual poem, wonderfully mysterious, expressive, and open to interpretation.
